Community Support Projects (CSP) is the collective term we use to describe all the project work we do in the community.

Last updated: 5 January 2021

Following new government restrictions, St Vincent's shops in England and Wales have temporarily closed. We look forward to welcoming back our staff, volunteers and customers when it is safe to do so. Please hold onto your donations while the shops are closed. In the meantime, you can shop with St Vincent's online and browse hundreds of preloved quality items on our eBay store.

Most St Vincent's Centres remain open to provide much-needed support services in their communities. Face-to-face services are temporarily suspended. Please check locally for more details.

Thank you for your continued support during this difficult time.

Community Support Projects includes our St Vincent's community shops, furniture stores, support centres, supported accommodation and our contract with the Home Office to manage and run two local Approved Premises. SVP members are also involved with holiday camps and the running of local soup runs and food banks.

Please select from the projects below for more information.

Community Shops
These provide low cost clothing and household items and welcome people who may need support
Furniture Stores & Depots
These collect household items to distribute through our community shops or directly to those in need
St Vincent's Centres
Our St Vincent's Centres offer free and confidential services and practical support.
Supported Accomm.
This provision offers crisis and transitional accommodation to homeless people
Approved Premises
These accommodate high-risk offenders and engage with them to help reduce re-offending
Vinnie Camps
Our summer camps provide much-needed holidays for young people
Soup Runs
Our Soup Runs provide hot food and drinks and also companionship to homeless people
Food Banks
SVP members run or assist at various Food Banks around the country
