The St Vincent de Paul Society is seeking a part-time Membership Development Officers to work two days a week on recruiting volunteer members in:

  • The Diocese of Brentwood (ie Essex and East London)

The SVP is a major international charity.  Operating in 150 countries worldwide, it currently has 800,000 parish-based members who provide practical help to those in need through local community action.  However, the number of people who can be helped by the SVP depends on the number of members we have, so we are keen to increase our membership base.

Applications are invited from individuals who can empathise with the Society’s ethos and work and who have a good understanding of the structure of the Catholic Church.

For an application pack and further details contact Jon Cornwall on 07703 321689 or

e-mail: JonC@svp.org.uk.
