Celebrate St David’s Day in Ely Bridge

exterior building night

To celebrate the patron Saint of Wales, St David’s Day, here we explore what’s on offer at our Community Support Centre in the heart of Cardiff.

At the center of the community, providing a welcoming environment and friendly face, St Vincent’s Ely Bridge is a safe haven for all where confidence, skills and well-being can be nurtured.

Homed around a cosy community café, families and individuals alike can meet in a secluded sanctuary to chat, relax and learn together at after school clubs, cookery classes and parenting sessions.

The team at Ely Bridge are there to support anyone and everyone within the community, regardless of their beliefs and backgrounds. By helping to turn accommodation into a safe and secure home, offering a sanctuary to sit and have a chat, provide white goods and furniture essentials to those who need it the most. The team really are more than just a helping hand.

If it’s support and advice you need, help and assistance whilst on probation, guidance with debt or housing problems, the team can turn their hand to anything and help everyone no matter what the circumstances.

Activities on offer range from a day-to-day basis, so make sure to always check up to see what the team have got planned for the month!

Are you a man looking to bring light to your life? Call in to the centre every Friday from 10am until 12.30pm where you will be welcomed with open arms. Enjoy a good conversation and laugh, take part in group day trips and outreach fitness program opportunities too.

Perhaps you’re a woman looking for some love? The Ladies Who Lunch Group also meet every Friday from 1pm until 3pm where you are welcomed to a safe space to enjoy each other’s company and various activities on offer.

Whatever it is you’re looking for, the centre at Ely Bridge has it all… just take a look:
