We are a close-knit group of individuals dedicated to helping, supporting and feeding others. Through Vinnie's drop in lunch on Tuesdays, we feed around 180 locals who come to us to enjoy a warm meal, catch up with friends or simply just to talk to someone.
We are dedicated to fighting poverty in all its forms. Thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses and schools, we are able to provide emergency packs of food, clothing, toiletries and sanitary products to individuals and families in need.

The SVP supports Newcastle City Council's aim to end rough sleeping by 2022. We await findings in 2023.

We currently have three supported accommodation with 24 hour staff to help residents fulfil the terms of their tenancy agreement. Our supported housing service combines accommodation with support and is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of vulnerable and homeless people.
