St Vincent De Paul - Newcastle
Each week we offer a range of FREE activities for all.

A community hub for everyone to enjoy.

St Vincents is a vibrant community hub, offering a range of free services and activities daily, led by what the community tell us they need.  Our approach is to offer practical, holistic support in a spirit of compassion and welcome. Our current weekly activities include – Memory lane drop in, knit and natter group, cooking on a budget, craft groups, yoga, book club, mens Pie and poetry and more (see Timetable).  Our two busiest days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Tuesdays we offer a free 3 course meal to anyone in the community. . Through Vinnie's drop in lunch on Tuesdays, we feed around 180 locals who come to us to enjoy a warm meal, catch up with friends or simply just to talk to someone.

Thursdays we have a thriving cost of living market open to all and offering a range of low cost goods, including 12 for £5 groceries, household items, clothing, electricals and more. Thursdays we also have citizens advice based at our market, our partnership with citizens advice means that we can offer weekly professional, timely, welfare advice and support to anyone who needs it, in a place where they can feel comfortable.

We are dedicated to fighting poverty in all its forms. Thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses and schools, we are able to provide emergency food parcels, clothing, toiletries and sanitary products to individuals and families in need.

All meals served at Vinnie's drop in lunch are produced from food donations we receive. If you would like to contribute, please visit our JustGiving page. Your donation can really help to make a difference to people in need.
