A warm, welcoming and friendly place for people over 50 living in Brighton & Hove

Tower House is a Community Centre and Coffee Shop which specialises in providing services and support for those over the age of 50.

We are run by a Christian charity called the St Vincent de Paul Society (registration number 1053992).  Everything we offer at the Centre can be enjoyed by anyone over 50 of any faith or no faith at all, we are inclusive in our work and aims.

We offer a varied range of clubs, classes and services which are available to anyone over 50 to enjoy and benefit from.  Our aim is to reduced loneliness and social isolation and improve an older person's overall well being.

Tower House also has a popular Commuity Coffee Shop, charity shop and free library for books, CDs and DVDs.

We compliment our own services with those of others such as Age UK, Crossroads Care, Switchboard and many others to provide a hub of older people's services under one roof.

Above all, we strive to offer people a warm and friendly welcome when they come along to the Centre, and we aim to ensure that people feel at home and part of something in their community.

We are staffed by a small team of activities professionals, assistants, cook and a minibus driver and are very ably supported by a large team of volunteers and local SVP members to help us to bring everything we can to local older people.

The easiest way to find out more - is to pop down and visit us - we are open from 9-2 weekdays and we can have a cuppa and a chat and can show you around to see what you think....also most of what we offer can be tried for FREE!
