The St Vincent's Sponsored Walk returns this September, following successful virtual versions to stay in line with Covid-related restrictions and government guidance, we're pleased to announce that our sponsored walk will return to it's original format for the upcoming September edition. This means that our lovely, scenic Wetherby route will return, with a short 2.5 mile option (suitable for wheelchair users and prams) as well as a longer, 5.5 mile option available, ensuring that everybody that would like to take part is able to.

To ensure the safety and comfortability of all our walkers and fundraisers, we'll be staggering starts at our usual meeting point of St Joseph's Church in Wetherby and there'll also be an option to take part in another 'virtual version' of our walk, whereby strollers can pick a convenient date, route and pace to complete their fundraising efforts.

Register your interest and let us know whether you're taking part in a virtual or actual sponsored walk...

Our most recent sponsored walk, taking place in April earlier this year - to signal and celebrate the feast of our St Vincent de Paul founder - was a virtual affair, allowing walkers to choose their own route, their own pace and their own distance. While we can't wait to make this event a socialising exercise again, we're thrilled to announce that we managed to raise a huge £2266.24 for our centre and services.
