JustGiving is an online fundraising platform that enables people to easily donate online and raise funds through taking part in events for a charity of their choice.
Setting up a JustGiving page for your Rise to the Challenge fundraiser is quick and easy with these steps!
1. Visit www.justgiving.com and choose 'Start Fundraising'
2. Select 'A charity'
3. Create a new JustGiving account or sign in
4. Search and select the SVP
5. Complete some details about your fundraiser. Are you giving up chocolate, starting a 100k step challenge or climbing Mount Snowdon on your stairs?
6. You've just created your JustGiving page! Once your page is created you’ll be able to edit it to add further details such as a photo, fundraising target and progress updates for your supporters. Choose ‘Edit your page’

We ask that you set a minimum fundraising target of £100, but we encourage you to make the most of your challenge by asking your friends and family for sponsorship. The money you raise will go towards the SVP Covid-19 Recovery Programme so we can continue to support vulnerable and isolated people who need us most.
It’s easy to promote your challenge on social media! You should post about your challenge as soon as you start it, and then post regular updates about how it's going, how much you’ve raised so far and what your goal is.
