Mini Vinnies help raise homelessness awareness

A group of Mini Vinnies participated in a world record breaking attempt to create the longest line of shoes around Hull’s KC Stadium, in aid of Hull Homeless Outreach.

The pupils from Endsleigh Holy Child Academy and St Vincent’s Academy in Hull, made posters and collected over 400 shoes for the 'A Day in My Shoes' campaign, lining them up with 24,000 other pairs around the stadium in front of crowds of local people.

Catherine Holtby, Chaplaincy Coordinator at the school and coordinator of the school's SVP Mini Vinnies said: "We had a great afternoon, well done to all at Hull Homeless Outreach and everyone else who helped at the event."
