This year members of the Vincentian Family celebrate 400 years of the Vincentian charism through participation in four common projects: the pilgrimage of the relic of the heart of Saint Vincent; a project to end homelessness throughout the world; the International Symposium taking place in Rome; an International Film Festival and a competition focusing on the life of Saint Vincent de Paul.
The international Symposium is now under way in Rome. Nearly 10,000 people have registered to attend this historic celebration and pilgrimage. The SVP England and Wales contingent is gearing up for the first of the four day's events, which included an Audience with Pope Francis in St Peter's Square tomorrow morning.
