The first week of June signals an annual and national celebration of volunteers and the work they do for Volunteers Recognition Week. For us at St Vincent's Centre, Leeds we wanted to really showcase our grattitude and thanks for the hard work, dedication and compassion that they continually showcase within our centre and across our services. Whether they commit a few hours or a few days a week, we wouldn't be able to operate as we do without their help and for that, we're so thankful. 

We invited our volunteers into our community cafe space for a bespoke afternoon tea, complete with fresh, home made sweet treats as well as little goody bags to say thanks. It was wonderful to welcome our team back into our centre for what would have been over twelve months for some due to covid related restrictions.
