This summer school holidays, we're staying commited to ensuring that the children of our community are well fed and occupied over their time out of the classrooms as St Vincent’s Centre, Leeds will be delivering a full programme of free fun activities throughout the warmer months as part of the Healthy Holidays Scheme.
Healthy holidays provides food and fun for families with school age children who are in receipt of free school meals. We have been delivering this service throughout the past twelve months, but some of our concepts and ideas have had to be adapted and edited to guarantee all of our food distribution and activities were in line with current covid-19 restrictions, ensuring the safety of our service users.
We're hopeful that as our programme will be delivered over the summer - potentially following the government's roadmap out of lockdown restrictions - that our planned provisions will go ahead. We are confident that we will be able to offer high quality food and a wide range of fun activities. These will include the liked of arts and crafts, performing arts workshops, trips to local attractions and places of interest, out door fun and much, much more.
