SVP Conference organise transport for Liverpool Pilgrimage
St. Teresa's/Mary Magdalen's Conference Penwortham, were instrumental in helping to organise transport and help for the annual Archdiocese of Liverpool pilgrimage to the 900 year old shrine at Ladyewell at Fernyhalgh north of Preston on 10th May 2008.
The picture shows Conference secretary Terry Conway and his wife Vera at the head of the procession. The Conference provided a mini bus to transport those unable to proceed to the shrine. Parishioners came from Wigan, Haydock, Newton-le-Willows, Penwortham, Chorley and Norris Green.
