Walsingham Shrine

40th Anniversary Pilgramage to Walsingham - 3 July 2011

Walsingham and the SVP will enjoy a very special year in 2011. For the SVP, it will be the 40th Pilgrimage to Walsingham, whilst the Shrine itself will be celebrating its 950th anniversary. It would be absolutely wonderful if as many Conferences as possible could be represented on Sunday 3 July. For those Conferences not too far from the Shrine, it would be immensely helpful if a few more priests might be encouraged to attend for the anointing of the sick, and indeed, communion, although Eucharistic Ministers can of course help with this. There is plenty of information on the internet about local accommodation. If you have any immediate enquiries ring Chris Burton on 01223 352327 or email at cfb79ten@googlemail.com. You can get more information on The RC Shrine at www.walsingham.org.uk or on 01328 820217 or email at rcnationalshrine@walsingham.org.uk.
