350th Anniversary Art Competition - submit your entries now!
Open to young and old alike and being promoted through schools and across the Vincentian Family, an art competition is being held to celebrate the 350th Anniversary. We are looking for artwork, whether it be painting, photography, sculpture or any other type of art which expresses Vincentian values and the ethos of the Vincentian Family.
Entrants need to send their artwork with the completed entry form below to SVP National Office (address below) by Friday 5th March 2010.
The competition will be judged by Fr Brian Moore CM (Provincial), Sr Sheila Gosney RJM (Artist) and Mike Worthington (SVP National President).
Winning entries in each age group will be displayed at Vincentian events in 2010 at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral and Westminster Cathedral.
You can submit any piece of art in any style (painted, drawn, photography etc) – the only requirement is that it is your
interpretation of Vincentian ethos and service....
Age Categories & Prizes
11s and under: £50 of art materials (£100 to winner’s school if submitted via school )
12-16 year olds: £75 voucher (£100 to winner’s school if submitted via school)
Over 16s: £100 voucher
Any artwork submitted may be used or reproduced by the Vincentian Family in publications, displays or future resources. Unfortunately no art work can be returned.
