ObituariesThere is a light that will never go out...

It is with deepest regret that we announce the following death:

Anne Meehan

Ann was born in County Meath on the 10th May 1914, and left school at the age of 14. She came to London and entered service when she was 16, using her spare time to attend night school, training for a career in catering.

During the war she worked for the Post Office, then in service for a while, before becoming catering manager at a large school for girls. Her outgoing personality suited her role as a volunteer hospital visitor for a long period of time. This eventually led her to become a Vincentian in the Poole Conference of St Mary's, where after many year of service she became President.

Ann died in Poole hospital no the 4th march 2006 and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Please pray for the repose of her soul.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE
