It is with deepest regret that we announce the following death:
Ken Ingle
Bro Ken Ingle, Treasurer of St Theresa's Conference Crossgates, Leeds died 1 st March 2008 aged 78. A graduate in Electrical Engineering from Leeds University , Ken held a senior post at the Yorkshire Electricity Board and also lectured at evening classes. A convert, he baecame involved in parish work, helping to count the church collection and organising the parish Gift Aid Declaration envelopes.
Ken was adept at DIY and his electrical skills came to the fore during his conference duties. He was President from 1982-1988 following which he held the post of Treasurer until ill-health forced him to resign in late 2007. Ken also served as Secretary to the east Leeds District Council.
A modest man, he brought a wealth of expertise and compassion to his conference work. Also a devoted family man, Ken leaves his wife Ethel, 6 children, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
May he rest in peace.
