Obituaries

There is a light that will never go out...

It is with deepest regret that we announce the following death:

Mrs Marie Gallagher

Marie Gallagher, 72, died tragically on 20 April 2008. She was hit by a car in the car park of a Middlesbrough supermarket. She and her husband Peter resigned recently from St. Bernadette's Conference, Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough , having been members for some 13 years. She made an enormous contribution and her compassion for the frail, sick and elderly, whom she visited, was limitless. She enriched the lives of many people.

She had great organisational skills especially in the implementation of the many trips to Ministeracres in Co. Durham , a trip run by the conference for the sick and elderly of our parish. She is survived by her husband, Peter (who was our treasurer for a time), her son Chris and his wife Kate and her two grandchildren, Rosemary and Thomas. May she rest in peace.

Please pray for the repose of her soul.

MAY HE REST IN PEACE
