It is with deepest regret that we announce the following death:
Michael Joseph Baker
Michael 'Mick' Baker died after a long illness at the end of February. He was 83.
Mick was the founder President of the St Margaret of Cortona Conference in Dallington, Northampton which was set up in 1991.
Mick, who had previously been a member of St Patrick's Conference in Duston, had for many years worked as a care assistant in various local hospitals.
Owing to ill health Mick resigned as President in 1998, becoming an auxiliary member, while still retaining a keen interest in the ongoing affairs of the Conference.
Mick leaves a widow, Mary (also a Conference member), and a son and daughter.
