Volunteer with the SVP
The SVP is a voluntary organisation which relies on the support of members and others who are able to give of their time. We very much welcome new volunteers and are extremely grateful for any time or services you may be able to give to us.
If you would like to find out more about volunteering opportunities in your local area please get in touch. There is a wide range of possibilities available depending on where you live. Opportunities range from volunteering at one of our community shops, to helping out at a local soup run, to organising parcels or a Christmas party for the elderly, as well as many many others.
Gifts In Kind
If you are a company or an individual and would like to support us with a donation of furniture, clothes, food, or other services, we would love to hear from you.
The SVP operates several furniture projects which recycle and redistribute donated household goods to individuals and families in need. It also runs almost 30 community shops which are situated in areas of deprivation and serve local communities, providing low cost goods and household items to disadvantaged individuals and families, offering a listening ear, and where appropriate, arranging for local SVP members to visit those most in need.
