SVP 1833s and VVs meet up in Liverpool for the 350th Anniversary Mass and ExhibitionSeveral SVP 1833 members met up in April when they were invited to be stewards at the Mass and Exhibition, organised by the VMP (Vincentian Millennium Partnership), to mark the 350th Anniversary of the deaths of St Vincent de Paul and St Louise de Marillac. Members from Bangor, Birmingham Newman, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool joined with the Vincentian Volunteers to welcome visitors as they arrived to view the Exhibition and to attend the Mass, where Doug Crawford from Bangor University Conference carried the SVP 1833 banner. It was great to see the chaplains / spiritual advisers from the 1833 Conferences in Birmingham Newman, Leeds and Liverpool taking part, and we all met up again afterwards, together with the VVs as Liverpool chaplain, Fr Ian McParland, put on a wonderful buffet in the chaplaincy.
